Maxi Zoo Sums Up its Holiday Campaign
from 19.01 to 02.02
Over 29,000 animal dreams from across Poland were fulfilled as part of Maxi Zoo’s holiday charity campaign, “Together for Animals. Make the Dreams of Animals in Shelters Come True.” From November 13th to December 31st, 2025, in all Maxi Zoo stores across Poland, customers and employees joined forces to support animals in shelters, foundations, associations, shelters, and animal protection societies, providing them with gifts they’d always dreamed of.
As every year, in November and December, Maxi Zoo stores featured distinctive Christmas trees decorated with cards listing the animals’ needs. These lists were not random; they were prepared by local organizations with which the chain’s stores work daily. The cards related to specific animals and their actual needs, and customers could select them from the tree, purchase the selected products, and leave them under the tree. As a result, the gifts, including: Food, treats, beds, toys, and cleaning products all went to the animals they were intended for.
This year’s campaign fulfilled 29,024 animal dreams, providing them not only with full bowls and essential equipment, but also with a sense of security and care. For many shelter residents, these were the first “Christmas gifts” they ever received.
“For years, this campaign has demonstrated the power of collective action. Every donated package of food, every toy, or blanket provides tangible help for the animals. I thank our customers for their sensitivity and open hearts, and the employees of Maxi Zoo for their enormous commitment. Thanks to you, the holidays are truly becoming warmer in the shelters,” says Wojciech Kamiński, Managing Director of Maxi Zoo Polska.
The importance of this form of support is also emphasized by organizations that care for homeless animals on a daily basis.
“Winter is a time of particularly great challenges for shelters and foundations. Thanks to this campaign, animals receive what they truly need, from food to warm beds. Importantly, the aid goes directly to our residents.” We are incredibly grateful to our customers and the Maxi Zoo team for their support and remembrance,” says Lidia Kaźmierczak, representative of the OTOZ Animals Inspectorate in Łódź.
The “Together for Animals. Fulfill the Dreams of Animals in Shelters” Christmas collection is one of the pillars of Maxi Zoo’s social activities and has become a permanent fixture in the brand’s calendar of initiatives. Each store in the chain collaborates daily with local aid organizations, regularly donating donations and responding to the ongoing needs of animals. This year’s collection also saw the local nature of the collaboration play a key role, enabling effective and well-planned support.
Maxi Zoo also runs other nationwide animal-supporting initiatives. As part of the “Friendship Connects – Together for Animals” campaign, the chain, along with its customers, supports rescue dogs from the Mountain Volunteer Search and Rescue (GOPR) and the activities of the Animals for People Association (ZwierzÄ… Myślę Ludziom) for dog and cat therapists. The company also regularly supports animal-supporting organizations, including by providing in-kind donations, the most recent donation worth 430,000 PLN. PLN 100,000 went to the Viva! Foundation, supporting its animal protection efforts in Poland.
The concluded edition of the Christmas fundraiser once again demonstrated the power of collective action. Every gesture of support translated into help for specific animals, and the thousands of fulfilled dreams are the best proof that together we can achieve so much.
